Lake Crest Inn Terms & Policies:
Reservation & Deposit Policy
- All reservations require a 50% deposit at the time of booking to guarantee your stay.
- Deposits are subject to a minimum 20% cancellation fee. Please see the cancellation policy below and in your confirmation email for details.
- Guaranteed reservations require a deposit of 50% of the total stay. Reservations are commitments for the full period requested. No refunds are issued for early departures or unused portions of your stay.
Cancellation Policy
At Lake Crest Inn, we make every reservation a commitment. When you book a room, we hold it exclusively for you and do not double-book, so we ask that you carefully consider your plans before confirming your stay.
- Cancellations must be made at least 14 days prior to the arrival date.
- If cancelled BEFORE 14 days: a 20% cancellation fee of the deposit applies; the remainder of the deposit will be refunded onto the original form of payment.
- If cancelled WITHIN 14 DAYS of arrival: the entire deposit is forfeited. This is regardless of any reason (death in the family, sickness, Covid, accidents, inclement weather, change of plans, etc) Cancellations within the cancellation period are non- refundable.
- Your reservation guarantees your room, and in return, we ask our guests to honor their commitment. Cancelling within the reserved period affects our business, especially since we operate for a limited season.
- No call/no show reservations will be cancelled and deposits are non-refundable. Guest will be liable for entire stay if they are a no call/no show.
- Special events (e.g., Adirondack Nationals Car Show, etc) have non-refundable deposits.
- Reservations cannot be modified within the 14-day cancellation period.
- Prices quoted apply to the exact dates and nights booked.
- Room occupancy/guest count must not exceed the capacity of the room.
Rates & Occupancy
- Additional guests: $25 per night using existing bedding. Rollaway beds are not provided.
- Extending your stay requires a new reservation at prevailing rates; prior rates do not apply.
- Changes to your reservation (room changes, downgrades, shortening stay) are subject to a $50 fee plus tax.
- Rates cannot be combined with other offers or promotions and are not available to groups.
Check-In & Check-Out
- Check-in: 4:00 PM
- Check-out: 10:00 AM
- Reservations are guaranteed until 6:00 PM on the scheduled arrival date. If arriving later, please notify the Front Office; otherwise, your reservation may be released, and no refund will be issued.
- Late departures may incur a charge equal to the daily room rate. Late check-out (up to 12:00 PM) may be available for an additional fee, if permitted.
- Early Check-in Options: First option, is to pre-book the night prior, which is a whole night’s accommodation. Second option, is for arrival from 1 PM for $50 plus tax. Must be arranged with the Front Office and is based upon availability.
Payment
- Accepted forms: Cash, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, Money Orders, Checks.
- Personal checks are accepted up to one month prior to arrival.
- The balance is due upon arrival.
Pets & Smoking
- Pets are not allowed in our rooms and on property.
- All rooms are non-smoking. Smoking is permitted only outside the buildings, in specific areas. Please make sure all the windows, doors will be closed if smoking outside of the room. If the room smells like smoke, you will be charged the cleaning fee.
- No smoking of Marijuana allowed anywhere on property.
- Violators will be removed immediately, without a refund or credit. I hereby authorize Lake Crest Inn to charge the credit card provided herein a $300 plus tax, cleaning fee for any-in-room smoking or pets found in room.
Internet Access
- Complimentary wireless internet is available in all guest rooms and public areas. Please note that the connection is suitable for email, browsing, and messaging, but is not recommended for streaming or high-bandwidth activities.
Property & Parking
- All guests must be registered to a room. Guests not registered will not be allowed on the property for security reasons.
- Parking is extremely limited: one space per room. Additional parking may be available for a fee and must be arranged in advance with the Front Office. Oversize vehicles will be subject to additional charges.
- The property is under 24-hour video surveillance for the safety and security of all guests.
- Guests are responsible for any damage to the property, including guest rooms and public areas. Fees for damages will be assessed after evaluation, and the Lake Crest Inn is authorized to charge the credit card on file for the cost of any damages.
- No grilling or BBQing allowed on the property.
- Children under 18 must be supervised at all times by an adult registered to the room, in accordance with New York State regulations. This includes the pool, beach, and all other areas of the property.
- The property does not provide children’s facilities (e.g., playgrounds). Activities such as roller skating, skateboarding, and ball playing are not permitted on the property.
- Public restrooms are not available on the property.
Quiet Hours & Groups
- Quiet hours are enforced strictly between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM daily.
- No large group gatherings allowed on property after 10:00 PM.
- Absolutely no loud music allowed on the property.
Additional Housekeeping
- All guests renting a unit with a kitchenette are required to clean all dishes, utensils, pot & pans and appliances before check-out.
- I hereby authorize the Lake Crest Inn to charge the credit card provided herein $50 plus tax for any unreasonable or excessive housekeeping.
